Born from a mum's struggle, baked with a chef's love
Our son has battled severe eczema and food allergies since he was a baby. For years, our family lived in a cycle of itchy skin, scabby flare-ups, stomach aches, and endless searching — the right cream, the right food, the right clothing, the right environment. Nothing was simple. Everything was a negotiation.
Finding food he could actually eat — and actually wanted to eat — felt impossible. Kye, our head chef, tried everything. He'd cook up something nourishing and our son would take one look at the vegetables and refuse. Or worse, he'd react to an ingredient we didn't expect. It was exhausting, heartbreaking, and all too familiar for so many families.
Then Kye started catering for childcare centres, and something clicked. He began making muffins for the dietary kids at the centres — hiding the good stuff inside flavours children already loved. Chocolate. Banana. Maple. The kids devoured them. Our kids devoured them. For the first time, we had something that was genuinely safe, genuinely nourishing, and genuinely delicious.
